Marketing & Communications for an EU-funded cultural mobility network
Where We Started
On the Move – a cultural mobility network co-funded by the European Union – was looking for hands-on support to the growing international reach of their activities, including resource sharing, mobility opportunities call outs, as well as online and in-person events held globally.
In relation to the On the Move’s annual Cultural Mobility Forum, there was also a need to make wider conversations around mobility, inclusion and cultural policy more accessible and engaging for diverse audiences across the sector.
The Problem We Solved
As part of their core communications team, Diagonal joined the network to develop and implement a long-term communications strategy helping translate complex institutional and policy-driven conversations into clearer and more audience-friendly narratives.
Working closely with international partners and the wider On the Move team, the work spans managing multilingual content flows, increasing online visibility, developing audience-facing materials and resources, and strengthening the network’s presence across digital platforms.
The Outcomes
Diagonal’s holistic approach to marketing and communications operations has strengthened On the Move’s international communications infrastructure while expanding the visibility and accessibility of its work across the cultural sector.
By combining strategic communications with editorial storytelling and digital engagement, the network was able to reach broader audiences while maintaining clarity around complex topics related to mobility, inclusion and international collaboration.
